Okay, mixing my new fascination of widgets with learning to use my flip video today, I wanted to see how long it would take us to download the Papa John’s widget and place an order. Keep in mind that I’m a bit slow in online registrations because I typically read everything, I was typing with one hand holding the flip in the other and I had the help of a six-year-old. So, under other circumstances, it would have been EVEN faster. In under 20 minutes, we checked out the widget, read some things on the website, set up an online account and ordered a pizza through widget. The actual ordering part only took about a minute, and I have no idea how, but the pizza was delivered 16 minutes later.
Feeling the need to state the disclaimer again that Papa John’s is a client of Fleishman-Hillard where I work as a senior vice president. The account is not based in my office, and I do not work on it. It just so happens that I have a son who loves the product, and they have a widget!
